We might be looking for you, if you are a 3rd-5th year student or a recent M.Sc. graduate. With an enthusiastic attitude and interest in international assignments you can go a long way, but if you also have previous work experience in auditing, development cooperation, renewable energy or financial management, it will be considered as an advantage!

KPMG's International Development Advisory Services, IDAS, works on international development cooperation projects. Our IDAS team’s assignments include audits, evaluations and other expert services for programs in developing countries. Auditing includes an assessment of the financial management and management capacity, the verification of financial figures and the audit of internal controls. KPMG is also implementing a renewable energy project focusing on southern and eastern Africa, which provides start-up companies with grant funding and business development services. Tasks related to the implementation of this project include organizing funding application rounds, evaluating funding applications, monitoring the use of funding and field inspections in the target countries, and organizing financial and networking events. You’ll be working in Finland as well as abroad.
Developing your skills is important to us, and we want to support your goals by providing challenging and engaging jobs. You’ll get to familiarize yourself with financial management, renewable energy and auditing tasks by working side by side with our specialists on various client assignments. As an IDAS trainee, your daily work may include tasks such as:
- financial monitoring
- assisting in auditing tasks
- reviewing funding applications and project reporting
- communication with the international team and external stakeholders
- data processing and preparing reports in Finnish and English
